Stephanie Furdek is a Sydney based cinematographer and camera/ steadicam operator working across narrative features, television drama and commercials. 

 

After beginning her career in the camera department and spending many years as a 1st AC she moved into operating and cinematography, bringing a strong technical foundation and a collaborative, dependable presence on set. Her recent cinematography credits include the feature films Aphelion (dir. Steve Willems) and Backlash (dir. Jon Cohen).

 

Alongside shooting, Steph regularly works as a camera and steadicam operator and is comfortable stepping into productions at any scale. She has a performance focused approach and is experienced working with fast schedules, tight locations and actor driven scenes.
